Kyle Shake

Hey my name is Kyle Shake. I graduated from Darlington High School last year and now attend Johnson C. Smith University where I am majoring in computer engineering. I'm hoping to advance in this career and also get my master's degree. I live with my wonderful family, the Hogans. I couldn't ask for any other home. Momma Hogan has been a great impact on my life ever since my mom died. She's been there for the ups and downs and always been a mother to me.
If it wasn't for her I probably wouldn't be who I am today. Every time I'm in school doing my work I think of both moms and thank them for believing in me and encouraging me to strive for success. My hobbies are running, playing basketball and chillin' with friends.

Gabrielle Thomas

My name is Gabrielle Thomas. I am 18 years old and I attend Rutgers University. I am studying graphic design. College life is nothing like high school. You don’t have anyone telling you what to do so you have to know when to study and when to do your homework. Living on campus is also a good thing because you get to meet different people. It is also a different experience being away from home. I decided to go to college in New Jersey. I like the cold. I like to play basketball and draw. I am trying to play on the basketball team this year. I hope that I make the team. Even when going to class and doing extracurricular activities, you have to be dedicated to both of them. College is a great way to meet new people and learn new things. I am just trying to further my education to make myself and the world better.
